Dustin J. O'Halloran (born 8 September 1971) is an American pianist and composer.
He has worked with Sara Lov for Devics, and was featured on the soundtrack of the film Marie Antoinette. Additionally, he worked to create all of the music for the soundtrack of the film An American Affair. He currently lives in Berlin, Germany.
O'Halloran's "Prelude 2" was featured in an Audi A5 advert,[1] and "Opus 36" was featured in BBC's Top Gear during the Vietnam Special. O'Halloran's "Opus 12" was also featured in a Brita water commercial in early 2010.
In November 2010, O'Halloran signed to Fat Cat Records' imprint 130701, with a new album announced for a February 2011 release.[2]
In September 2011, O'Halloran and Adam Wiltzie of Stars of the Lid released a full length album on Kranky and Erased Tapes called "A Winged Victory for the Sullen" The duo's tour included a string trio named "ACME" (American Contemporary Music Ensemble).
